Nashville, TN – February 1, 2025 – Cranked Up Records is proud to announce the signing of Dead Amsterdam, a powerhouse rock band known for their gritty sound, blues-infused riffs, and electrifying stage presence. With their relentless energy and raw, unapologetic style, Dead Amsterdam is set to make a massive impact under the Cranked Up Records banner, with global distribution through Virgin Music Group.

A striking promotional image of Dead Amsterdam, a powerhouse rock band known for their gritty sound and electrifying stage presence. The four band members stand against a dramatic, moody backdrop, dressed in edgy rock attire that reflects their blues-infused, hard-hitting style. With intense expressions and a commanding stance, the image captures their raw energy and the rebellious spirit that defines their music, celebrating their recent signing with Cranked Up Records.

Formed in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 2019, Dead Amsterdam has built a dedicated following with their hard-hitting bass lines, wailing guitar solos, thunderous drumming, and soulful vocals. Their signature sound blends the influences of Clutch, Stone Temple Pilots, and Jimi Hendrix, creating a modern take on classic rock grit and grunge-inspired power.

The band made waves with their self-titled debut album, recorded at the legendary Pachyderm Recording Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesota—where iconic albums like Nirvana’s In Utero were recorded. Following its release, Dead Amsterdam dominated festival stages, playing alongside Nonpoint, FLAW, Blacktop Mojo, Texas Hippie Coalition, and Hinder at major events like Rockfest, Northwoods Rock Rally, and Monster Hall Music Fest.

Curtis McKinney, founder of Cranked Up Records, expressed his excitement about the signing:

“Dead Amsterdam brings exactly the kind of raw energy and no-BS rock and roll that we love at Cranked Up Records. These guys play with heart, grit, and fire—it’s the real deal. We’re excited to get their music out to the world in a big way.”

With new music currently in the works, fans can expect Dead Amsterdam to deliver more high-octane, blues-drenched rock anthems in 2025. Their first release under Cranked Up Records is expected in the coming weeks, accompanied by touring and media appearances.

Dead Amsterdam issued the following statement:

“We’ve been grinding, playing our asses off, and making music that comes straight from the soul. Signing with Cranked Up Records means we get to take this thing to the next level and reach even more rock fans around the world. We can’t wait for you to hear what’s coming next—this is just the beginning.”

With a growing reputation and a hunger to take rock music to new heights, Dead Amsterdam is primed for their biggest year yet.
