La Crosse, WI – Get ready to turn it up! Dead Amsterdam, the hard-hitting rock outfit from the upper Midwest, is set to unleash their latest single, “SuperNova,” this Friday, March 14, 2025, on all major streaming platforms via Cranked Up Records, distributed by Virgin Music Group. Comprising Joel Griffis, Jason Barum, Levi Riness, and Shane Loken, the band promises a track that’s as bold and unrelenting as their live shows—a cosmic collision of gritty riffs, thunderous drums, and blues-infused swagger.

A high-energy promotional image of Dead Amsterdam, a four-member rock band from the upper Midwest. The band members—Joel Griffis, Jason Barum, Levi Riness, and Shane Loken—stand against a moody, atmospheric backdrop, exuding a raw, rebellious rock presence. Dressed in dark, edgy attire, they embody the gritty, blues-infused hard rock sound they are known for. The image captures their intense energy and camaraderie, reflecting the bold spirit of their latest single, “SuperNova.”

Since forming in 2019, Dead Amsterdam has been a force in the rock scene, electrifying stages alongside heavyweights like Nonpoint, Blacktop Mojo, and Hinder at festivals such as Rockfest and Monster Hall Music Fest. Their self-titled debut album, recorded at the legendary Pachyderm Recording Studio in 2023, cemented their reputation for raw, unfiltered energy. Now, with “SuperNova,” they’re ready to blast off into new territory, brought to fans worldwide by Cranked Up Records and distributed through Virgin Music Group’s powerhouse network.

“We’re stoked to team up with Cranked Up Records and Virgin Music Group for this release,” says Joel Griffis, speaking for the band. “’Super Nova’ is us cranking the dial past eleven, pure rock fuel for anyone who’s felt the pull of something bigger. This Friday, it’s yours.”

Cranked Up Records echoes the excitement: “Dead Amsterdam embodies everything we stand for; unapologetic, high-octane rock that grabs you and doesn’t let go. ‘SuperNova’ is just the beginning.”

Fans can stream “SuperNova” on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms starting March 14. Stay tuned to Dead Amsterdam’s socials (@DeadAmsterdamOfficial) and Cranked Up Records (@CrankedUpRecords) for exclusive previews and updates.
